The fabulous Alexandria Serrano has drawn a new set of stamps for Smeared Ink and I have LOVED having a play with them.
Here are the stamps:
Pretty awesome right?
Now what if I was to tell you that you could be in with a chance of winning the full set?
All you need to do is have a look at everyones projects in the hop today and leave a comment on each blog. Then when you have done that leave me a message on the forum here telling me that you have left comments on the blogs and which is your favourite image in this new set. I will be picking a winner at random on Sunday.
This ATC has been made with the Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge in mind. I always mean to join in with loads of challenges and then either forget or just run out of time, so I am pleased I actually have something made in time for a change :)
The image that I have used is Cranium Witch from Smeared Ink and on the background of my ATC I used the rubber background stamp from the Morte set, also from Smeared Ink.
The hop theme this month is to decorate an egg, I very nearly didn't sign up to this one as I didn't think I would have time. I am glad I did sign up...even if it was only yesterday morning that I did LOL
I knew I wanted my egg to be a dragon egg I just wasn't sure how I was going to go about it, then I remembered that Haunted Design House have got a steampunk junk and an egg shell would normally end up in the bin so I figured it's junk enough so i'd make a steampunk dragons egg.
The egg was blown, cleaned and dried then was given a coat of acrylic paint (the sort you get to paint models) I realised that trying to paint an egg and keep it still wasn't going to work so I ended up just rubbing the paint all over with my hands, which was rather satisfying. When the blu was dry I added some no nails glue and stuck on my watch parts, once that was dry it had a few blasts of brass spray paint before adding a little bit more of the blue to blend it. the image I have used is from smeared Ink and is called Hanging Dragons. Everything else I used has come from my stash, I set fire to some of the straw as a dragons lair wouldn't be complete without a bit of singeing :D
All in all this was a fantastic project to make...I got to get covered in paint, pull apart bones, smeared some fake blood around and set fire to things! I do hope that you will hop along and look at all the other fab projects on offer today.
Hello lovelies! We are half way through our challenge at IKE's WORLD Challenges but there is still a week left to come and play, our challenge this time is Everything Easter. I've used an absolutely adorable image called EASTER CHICKLETS to make this Easter card for Sall's Nan. Ike is so generous and has popped a wonderful freebie on the challenge blog for you to use.
I was so pleased that this was the Freaky Freebie for this month, on the Smeared and Smudged Forum, as I LOVE this set of stamps. It was actually one from the Femdon set that made me aware of Smeared Ink so it's my favourite set for many reasons :)
I've kept this card very simple as I think the image works better that way, I punched out the sentiment with my decorative label punch from Stampin' Up! and added a couple of handcuffs.
