For my piece I have made a 5" x 5" page using the fabulous stamp called face on.

Smeared Ink DT piece 07/09/14

After a crazy week I finally got some time to do a bit of crafting. For my Smeared Ink Dt piece this week I have made a card using one of the images from the creature feature set.  The image was coloured with spectrum noir pens and then distressed with distress inks.

We'd love to see you over at the smeared and smudged forum for challenges, tutorials and great crafty friendships :)

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Delicious Doodles, colours of Autumn

The regular challenges are back in full swing over at Delicious Doodles now and the first one is Colours of Autumn. For my piece I have created a digital card using Haunting MoonCeltic Raven Corner and Rose and Thistle papers.

Monthly Blog hop with Smeared Ink

I can hardly believe that it is the last Monday of August! With being off work for the summer holiday I almost missed this hop as I didn't realise that it was nearly Monday again LOL it's a good job I didn't have too much to do yesterday to I could make this piece.

The theme this month is Vintage, I did toy with the idea of vintage zombies but then I remembered this gorgeous image and it all went from there.

The stamp I have used is called Crabby Love from the Smitten set. I started by colouring her in with spectrum noir pens and coloured the background (it's the first time I've done clouds so I was rather pleased with the outcome). The base of the hanging is a piece of mount board, I have added a few photos that kind of shows the mess and thought process when I am crafting, I never really know how I want something to look before I start it. I prefer to collect random things together and see where it takes me LOL

Here is the full blog hop list for you to see all the other DT's vintage makes

Pocket page - Quoth the Raven

There is just under a week left now to join in with the current anything Poes challenge at Quoth the Raven. I have got a little bit of inspiration to share with you. This is the pocket page I made for the swap on the Smeared and Smudged Forum last month, my swap partner was the fabulous Black Dragon so I knew I just had to make something Poe related :D

I have used papers from a Tim Holtz craft halloween pad and the stamps are from Smeared Ink's Quoth the Raven rubber set.

New stamps at Smeared Ink

With Halloween just around the corner there is a brand new digi stamp set in the Smeared Ink store that will be perfect for your creepy makes this year. The set is called Hallocuties and is fantastic!

I have used the Zombie Girl and You're better than brains stamps for this piece and I am sure you will be seeing a lot more from me using this set in the near future.
